Introduction

Didier, who are you?
“My name is Didier. I’m 56 years old. I have quite a few years of professional experience. I’m married. I live in Brussels. I have a son.”
“And I have quite a few passions. I’m not really a sportsman, more of a ‘couch athlete.’ I enjoy watching sports on TV, but I’m not actually into sports.”
“I especially love reading, mainly detective novels. I also read a lot of philosophy. I cook a bit, not too much. I really enjoy desserts, like tiramisu. That’s me!”
What do you do at Micropole?
“I started at Micropole 5 years ago. I began in a Data Engineer role.”
“Then I became a Data Architect. And now, I’ve taken on the role of Delivery Manager for the french speaking Cloud & Data team.”
“So my current role is, in addition to participating in certain projects, to manage the teams with the aim of developing the individuals, helping the team members grow, but also ensuring that the quality of all our projects remains consistent and that we can deliver high-quality projects to our clients.”
Why did you choose Micropole as an employer?
“I chose Micropole because I find the projects here very interesting. I have always had a passion for everything related to data. About 35 years ago, I started working in an environment where data was very important.”
“And with the evolution of technologies and platforms, I find that Lucy in the Cloud is an environment where I can make use of, or at least I can apply, all the experience I’ve accumulated over the years, and most importantly, share the majority of it with my colleagues.”
What do you like the most about Micropole?
“The values I appreciate most at Micropole are: collaboration, sharing, and commitment.”
“For me, what’s important in a team is the human aspect. It’s about working together as a team.”
“It’s about ensuring that we meet objectives, that we manage to complete a project in a positive way for both the client and the team, that everyone feels involved in the same mission, and that everyone is rowing in the same direction. For me, that’s the most important.”
“On top of that, there’s the atmosphere. I think in Lucy in the Cloud, we try to develop a strong team spirit and have fun.”
“And it’s very important for me to do a job where I feel good, where I can have fun, and where we can have a bit of everything, ‘have fun’!”
