My job consists of helping my clients select and deploy software that allows them to track, analyze and improve their operations. This involves implementing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools with numerous features.
Here is a brief list of these features:
a. Consolidate financial statements, including actual data, budgets, forecasts and plans.
b. Define organization-wide budgets.
c. Introduce functions and automation to accelerate the forecasting process.
d. Establish a transparent planning process that integrates operations and finance.
e. Provide variance and trend reports to monitor actual performance against expectations, budgets, etc.
f. By researching and identifying the root cause of reported variances.
g. Calculate and provide key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire organization, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions based on the same set of information.
h. Produce legal and regulatory reports on activities and data.
